Keep On Dancin’s song ‘Summertime’ features in Metaffliction, a film by by Nathan Barillaro.
METAFFLICTION tells the story of Anton, an aspiring film director who casts himself in the lead role of his movie and subsequently struggles to differentiate between reality and the fictional world he has created.
It’s hard to remember the last time a truly great album emerged from this city. There have been a slew of strong long players from local bands over the last couple of years but never something that makes you sit up and truly take notice, something to inspire the sort of love where possession of an album seems to segue into the idea of possessing the band themselves. Nothing, that is, except for The End of Everything.
“One of the most remarkable releases of 2011 is re-delivered on vinyl. With its west coast rock via shoegaze sound, the analogue format feels like a natural home for this brilliant debut record.”
MESS AND NOISE MID-YEAR REPORT: 2012
“Keep On Dancin’s have created an album that is revelatory in its ability to move between the quixotic and the damaged. It’s one of the most interesting and beautiful albums this town has seen in years”.
